Hhhmmm! This is a real challenge. I like it, but I do not know why. I also dislike it, and again I do not know why. Overall, I think it is somewhat interesting. Not much help, I know.

Many thanks,

Antonio.

Yes. Capture the moment - though this view still stands today ;-)
This is a shot with lines - nicely composed.

i think i know what might be bothering me - the hard vertical doesn't align in my brain with the horizontal lines of the building.

That being said, prioritizing the vertical lines was the right call. I really like the contrast of that blue, and i like your use of the gray tones.

Nice capture while you were waiting

I tried imagining a 1:1 crop with the top removed above the left window and a little to the left and right of the blue removed as well and I really liked it - a little more abstract and nicely balanced with the four windows. What do you think?

Yes...that building is begging for photographs. Can't comment much on composition, as I'm still learning myself (after all these years)! It interests me though...I want to walk around the scene and explore it from different angles.

I had to have a couple of looks at the photo, and any photo that makes me do that has something.
At first glance the palm tree feels a bit too centered but at the same time it works in this image. Definitely a great building too with that blue and interesting windows.
