Scafell Pike panorama
Lens: Sigma 18-35/1.8 Art Camera: Pentax K-3II Photo Location: Scafell Pike, Cumbria, UK ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 1/125s Aperture: F8

View from top of Scafell Pike, highest mountain in England. 5 images stitched in Lightroom,
It was very warm and cloudy day, most of the mountain top was in the clouds, just few moments when I could see anything.

All C&C welcomed.

Perhaps you have a tad too much foreground. The lower left is particularly distracting because it is tack sharp and contrasty. It is as if focus was on the foreground rather than on the distant mountains.

To my eye the foreground helps to give the image a 3D look. It occupies roughly the lowest third of the image, so if you like the rule of thirds, it works. I feel like I'm standing there on the rocks, seeing what you saw. Flawless stitching as far as I can tell. Well done.

I agree that foreground is good to give depth. Perhaps though I would consider trimming some off the left side, just to the left of the small isolated cloud and maybe a fraction off the top, just to balance it all. The dark pile of rocks on the left and the dark hazy mountains don't add much to the image. Just my 50c worth. In all a good pano.

If you are going to have a foreground, middleground and background, make sure they all have some beauty to add to the shot. In this case, I would not have shot it.
