Zion Canyon Sunset
Lens: Pentax Ltd. 20-40mm Camera: Pentax K5IIs Photo Location: Zion Canyon, Utah ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 1/10s Aperture: F8

After hiking Angels Landing in Zion last week I quickly rushed to get to the bridge in the middle of the canyon which is everyone's favorite spot for capturing sunsets in this beautiful place. Got there just in time to setup and snap a couple quick shots. Used two shots here to increase the dynamic range.

Must try to remember that spot. We'll be in Zion next week. Last time the inner canyon including the lodge was closed off by a landslide. People stuck there for several days I think.

Wauw. This photo is just like the ones that pop up on my Windows 10 computer when I turn it on.
In other words .. well done.

Nice balance of lighting. I did not see this view when I was there, though I hiked up the other side to Observation Point.

Nothing short of stunning. And with so much crappy HDR out there, a commendably-accomplished application of the technique.
