Sandridge Bridge Melbourne
Lens: Tokina 17mm RMC Camera: Petax K1 Photo Location: Melbourne ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: Above 6s Aperture: F11 

Just trying out my recently acquired UWA lens on some cityscapes in Melbourne.

I like it, a bit soft at the crown tower end though.

Yes your right John.
The next night I photographed King's bridge and focused the lens towards the far side. I think it is sharper.
I purchased the lens to practice UWA photography with. Hopefully I will graduate to some top class glass in the future but until now I'm have fun with the Tokina.

Not much to be done, slightly tighter crop and plumb buildings in my view would improve things. Otherwise, not bad.

I will add this image of King's Bridge.
Overall a sharper image but with some lens flare issues. Should have taken earlier in the evening to give some color to the sky.
Look closely at the top tower with two blue lights. You can see birds flying around it.

I like why you took this. The tough style and exterior of the bridge contrasts wonderfully with the delicate pattern of the lights. A wonderful photograph.
