Lens: SMC Pentax 6x7 90mm f/2.8 Camera: Pentax 645Z Photo Location: Wyoming, USA ISO: 200 Shutter Speed: 1/125s Aperture: F16

A snowscape common in Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming, USA. To attempt to make it interesting I waited for the sun to lower to begin to cast shadows. Pentax 645z and the Black & White develop module in Lightroom.

Man O' Man I just really like this photograph. It gives a profound impression of that vast wasteland known as "Tundra." Great idea to use black and white in the winter. Many thanks for sharing.

Nice image, great light.

The snow is kinda gray. Working with the contrast and lightness on this image might be in order.

I like these simple motives. Just snow (which in it self can be hard to shoot) and some plants. Your thought about the sun/shadow was right. Nice.

very simple but beautiful pic. I do take some myself and often keep them in color to the blues and yellow reflected on the snow.

It's very difficult to shoot snow scenes; but you captured this one nicely! It reflects a cold, barren landscape very well!

Again less is more. Just print and put it on the wall.

I like it. I'm sure the color shot must look pretty much like the black and white

The trees are leading my eye out of the frame. Maybe a little vignetting would help. I like this minimalism!
