Cool perspective
Agree, maybe the landscape could be a little brighter with a bit more contrast. A graduated filter might help for photos that are half sky/half land.

I would actually suggest trying to darken the clouds. Increasing the brightness of the foliage/city would only take away any cues that it's under a blanket of clouds. There's already a great contrast of brightness in the back where the clouds don't cover and you'd never want the foreground to ever come close to that level of brightness.

Great shot by the way.

Fisheye - well maybe ultra wide. It sure takes a wide range.

I really like the way the curved waterfront and the curved horizon work together, great shot! Believe it or not it feels crooked to me, I would rotate to the right until it seems straight. I might brighten the whole picture just a little (not just the city) and turn up the contrast some. A variation I would try is to crop a lot of the green from the bottom and some of the clouds from the top and make it more pano-like (I do this a fair amount with fisheye shots).

Brightened shadows just a bit for some greenery, and increased the mid-tone contrast.

It doesn’t look fisheye which is a good thing.

It is a good demo of how fisheye can function as an ultrawide.

Pentax DA 10-17mm performs well at these angles if horizon is in the middle. There is still some distortion but i think better with that.

I just think the image is very good! I like the dark clouds on the left with the sunlight breaking through on the right. Lovely shot!
