IMHO... I think you've cracked it, I can't see anything wrong or ways you could've possibly improved on this fine image.

Yeah, I know. It's probably as a result of mixing wine and beer to excess with my neighbour George. We were both somewhat handicapped after a dinner by SWMBO News Year Day. She doesn't imbibe, but George and I split 3 bottles of white and four German Lager half and half. The morning after, I did not receive an awful lot of sympathy ...

It's a beautiful image, very well-composed. Was the softness of the rocks (particularly in the foreground) intentional? (My preference would have been to have them a little sharper.)

Very nice. Great timing. The water is distinctly flowing through the whole frame without being totally washed out. I like it. The only thing and it is a very minor thing is the patch of dead water on middle right. Now this is not a major problem but when I first saw this image on my phone this patch looked very odd and it was not till I got to my computer that I could see what it was, On the phone it looked like an out of focus rock between two in focus rocks. Quite strange. A trick of the eye perhaps at least to my ageing eyes.

Now seeing it larger, the picture makes sense to me and well done indeed.

This is a beautiful image and nicely composed. You might try some selective sharpening on the rocks to make them stand out a little bit, but that's just a nitpick.

Beautiful work, although maybe I would clean up those black dots on the photo, are they from the river or sensor dust? =)

Happy day!
