And in the front: a moose caught in the sand ;-)

I would stuff camera even closer to the wooden object in the foreground and smooth out water ripples with heavy ND/average composite. Also, the wooden object could have a bit more room to breathe. Now it almost collides with image bottom.

I agree. Beautiful picture, but in this case a smoothed water would push it that much further towards tranquil and serene

Wonderful colours and nice timing. That said, since this is the critique forum, I'll take the liberty to do extactly that . As far as I can see there are 3 leading lines (poles, water, driftwood-rocks) that are leading the viewer from the left to the right top corner, which in themselves are wonderful but they seem to be leading the viewer out of the frame, depriving the enjoyment so-to-say of the wonderful sun and sky. I'm pleasantly surprised at the DOF and colour - thanks for sharing.
