Non Branded ND1000 Filter Experiment
Lens: 17-70 Camera: K5 Photo Location: queensland ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 3s Aperture: F8

Well, I bought a $4.00 ND1000 non branded filter to see how it would go.

A bit of cropping, some PP.... and voila.

Any suggestions welcome.

I'd go for the 2 dollar 1,000,000 ND filter next time.

Seascapes with the horizon near the mid point of the frame seldom work well.

Good point rule of 3rds would work better

I'd take it back... it's made all the moving bits quite blurry.

my 2c,
nice image.
critiques:
image is rather soft almost like an oil painting (I guess this is intentional, but is a bit much for my taste).
also the top part of the sky is boring and can be cropped.
