Tiny ocean
Lens: Tamron 17-50 Camera: K5IIs

Didn't get the sunset I was hoping for. But the sky turned out dramatic.
What do you think?

Wow! I think this about perfect. If you want to play at all, lighten the sky a bit behind the top of the lighthouse to help it separate from the dark clouds in the BG. Maybe add some more saturation to the grass in the foreground. Nothing more!

Looks great.
Maybe have someone in the house release some seagulls? Wait for a viking longboat to float by?
Yeah its a great shot.

Looks very nice. Where is this lighthouse at? Looks like a nice area for great images. Show us more please.

Very nice shot. The lighthouse look a bit fuzzy though, perhaps a smaller aperture would have helped.

I think this is nice, moody and very appealing. Well captured and processed. I like the way the reds in the lighthouse stand out.

Hi
I really love this.
Disclaimer:
What I have done to your picture may not be to every bodies liking. In fact there could be a case of rejection by some.

Nevertheless only good or outstanding images are worthy of another look. Can they be improved ?
I ask myself this question from time to time when I see posts here. Your picture is one of those to see if there is anything that can be done without tipping it over the edge.

I decided to put a but more drama into the sky and it is this part which could be questionable, however I thought the top of the picture could do with a bit more, well cloud, to balance the bottom which is rather powerful. But if you must chastise me for it, please be gentle.

The tiny ocean I thought could do with a little more detail, after all it should reflect the clouds as much as possible. I also lightened the pine trees on the left a bit so they have a bit more texture and fit in better with the overall lighting. It my appear unnatural, but I decided the lipstick lighthouse needed a bit more red at the top. Lastly, I lightened the image just a bit overall and sharpened it up to remove the soft look.

I am not so sure feeling bad having missed the sunset, they are often overrated. You photo is just great without it. And there is a hint of it anyway. For me, good enough.

Hope I have not destroyed your picture.

Cheers
