Great capture. The refocusing makes the shot unique. This is definitely one for framing.

First time i hear of refocus. The result looks very dynamic in composition and colors shine nicely!

What does this mean? Refocusing? In this context.

When you take the photo with a long shutter you change the focus as the shutter is open. I used a tripod, had a 1 or 1.5 second shutter and had the focus correct to start and then unfocused during the duration of the shot. Sometimes I started unfocused and then focused sometimes I did it fast or slow. I don’t know what worked best, but it was fun. Hope that helps.

Wow. So artistic. It looks like something someone painted instead of photographed.

I like this shot, it is a very effective use of the technique. The contrasting colours and the black background make it pop.

Exactly how PancakeFlipper described it. I had a harder to going from unfocused to focused, so all of mine started focused for the first second then unfocused for the second second.

Thanks so much, I have a few that came out pretty cool, but this was the one I wanted to print on metal

I like your alot to, what was your focal length? I ended having to be extremely wide angle and crop all of my shots

Thanks so much, it was actually so artsy that stock photos thought it was a painting and not a shot lol
