Composite mode is very handy. It's basically a virtual ND. If you use the "Average" composite mode you won't have to compensate by lowering exposure. Just set it and boom! instant ND long exposure goodness.
As for the image, I'd just clean up the edges probably with a crop.

The waterfall at Virginia Waters, Surrey. Photo is an additive composite mode shot comprising (I think) 8 shots to simulate an ND filter's effect on the water. I'm not sure about the number of exposures because I was terminating the run when the image was exposed properly.
Very nice shot.

I love the movement look of the water. I also really like the "rock hut" that is on the bottom third. Great use of blending images to get a desired effect. I have been playing with my ND filter shots and have really enjoyed them.

I really like the picture. I think a slightly wider field of view would have given more perspective. Not sure without knowing what's around of course.

Beautiful shot. I really like the motion blur in it. I do agree with the others. If you could remove the sticks at the bottom, that is my only gripe with it. Great job.

Nice composition and very nice effect of the capture on the water flow. Perhaps worth cropping on the right side to remove the greens at top right of image?

One of my favorite genres of photography. Excellent. However, the branches at the base could be slightly cleaned from there.
