I just wanted everyone's opinion on the post processing on this photo. I took it quite a while back and I am interested in your opinion on whether you think the processing is overdone.

I would prefer less or mo vignetting, but otherwise I like the image. Best wishes.

This was a difficult lighting situation that you managed to coax into a decent mood shot .

I think the vignette is a bit too obvious. Sometimes less is more. Perhaps a tighter crop and a bit less saturation. Each to his own of course but that is how I would tackle this image

Hi.
Normal I found this Foto for "wildlife" Not so well, but with this PP it works - I like it this way!

Overall its a nice image I think. I dont mind the degree of vignetting much here but a tad less might be good to try..

Theres a blackish spot in the center of the water? What is that from... dirty sensor? It doesnt add to the image so maybe remove it?

The only other thing You may want to play around with is the black flecks/noise in the water..maybe tone them down a little.

What I like is the golden tones to the image that convey the look of early morning or late evening.. though by the duck shadows was the image taken around mid day?

My two suggestions, lighten up the front/middle bird a bit for a little more detail, as mentioned, fix the dark spot. Overall a very nice image, coloring and mood!

I would foremost work on denoising it more if at all possible.

Ya know, back in the day, it was called "grain" and was actually nice in some images!

The grain on the birds isn't bad... but around the water it is distracting (along with the dark spots). I suggest running a sharpening filter (will help isolate the grain and offset the next step), then run a despeckling filter 3-4 times in PS.

I like a clear eye with a highlight AND tack sharp feathers where one can see every vein in my bird shots.

I find the noise to be distracting; however, the composition is very nice.

Fix the dust spot at the top. I like your processing.
