Just messing about
Lens: 50mm Asahi Camera: Pentax K100D Photo Location: My house ISO: 1600 Shutter Speed: 1/6s Aperture: F22

I was messing about with my bellows and was looking for things to be the subject of the image. Many years ago, on a whim, I bought a couple of globe dice and had found one a couple of weeks ago. Anyway this was the result, I like it because it appeals to my quirky sense fo humour, but I was wondering how others looked at it.

I like it. It has nice colors and I like the shallow depth of field. there does seem to be quite a bit of noise in the lower left and in the shadows, but overall I think it looks good.

Globe dice; right up my quirky sense of humor alley! I'd love to see people's faces when you show it to them. If you sat it on a flat black surface with the black background, you could make it look like a polka-dotted planet.

This has a very vintage look to it. I would have guessed it was shot on film if you hadn't mentioned that it was shot on a k100d

First time i've heard of a globe dice, but the photo i like. The colors fit well together and the dots in the top right corner is in the right place. Simple and good photo.

I find the subtle joke against the rule of threes just great.

And globe-dice? How and why?

I like the colour and how it feels abstract, but would clean out some of the noise. It is interesting it almost looks like a 3D render.

I like this shot because I have no idea what the object is, and yet the composition is solid and the colors are balanced.
