I like it but I would love to see you differentiate the left side of the spider more - I think that's something that you can clean up in a photo program, especially if you have a raw image file.

I like it a lot. It is well made and is fully manual. It is plenty sharp and pretty easy to focus. And it is 2:1 which is very cool. If it was auto focus it would probably cost an arm and a leg!

You are probably right....I tend to prefer it a tad darker

Amazing photo! Looks very sharp. I suppose I have some research to do on that Laowa macro lens.

I would have to agree that it is on the darker side of things. If you have the raw you could probably pull up the shadows some and get more detail in the fly. Being familiar with shooting at 2:1 macro the depth of filed is hard to get to work for you so I commend your work however I probably would have dialed it up to f/8 or f/11 as I do want more in focus even if that results in what is in focus having that softness from diffraction. It is possible to clean up that softness a fair amount in post processing so it isn't as bad as people would make it out to be.

Really cool photo, agree with the notes about the shadows if you can draw out the fly a bit more it would be good.

Need to add some blur or my eyes are in danger. Nice macro work. A bit more of DOF would be great in my opinion.
