I am not sure...but they are what we usually trample under foot which most call weeds. This is why i love macro. It allows us to see these things we just cant see well enough to really enjoy. I have lots more of these "weeds" to share...Thanks

The last one, with the drops on the grass blades, is fantastic! Lots of diagonal lines filling the frame nicely. I like the vivid colors.

If you don't have one I suggest getting a ring flash to use with that lens. Otherwise those are some nice images.

Unfortunatly no. One of my wife's cousins who is big into photography, specifically close ups of floswrs, has one but it isn't very good. Until recently I was stuck reversing my 28mm or sticking it on silly amount of extension tubes to do macro shots so a ring flash either wouldn't have worked or would have been a sub optimal solution. Now that I have a proper macro lens my thoughts on getting one have rekindled. Maybe someone else in this thread can offer some advise.
