Nice shot! What is this tunnel? It looks like it goes right (completely unnecessary) before going left, why so?

It is a walking bridge. I think the dog leg design is purely for asthetics.

As explanation, it's designed to resemble the ancient aboriginal eel traps that were put into rivers.

Great shot, Broo!

I must go and have a look. I have not been down that way at night.

Nice. Since it's the photo critique section, here goes.

I'm not sure the horizon is straight.

I would have preferred that the buildings not be cropped, especially the left one.

The exposure is excellent.

Thanks for the advice and compliments. I really enjoy night cityscapes. The trick is to get the right balance between the light of the night sky and the city lights themselves. Try to expose for the highlights and to bring up the shadows in Lightroom. This is where the sensor on the K-1 shines.

Yep, I definitely like this one better. Indeed the K-1 sensor shines for work such as this.

Something looks a little unsharp in the whole picture, I think it would be really noticeable if you enlarged the picture.

Otherwise, great colors and perfect exposure.
