Whats your opinion about this image. The statue is about a swimmer who won the olimpics in 1936.

Olympic Games in Berlin in 1936, three years before World War II...

Thanks, I agree, it would be better from a higher point of view.
By the way he died in the war as a doctor...

Little more light needed.

Thanks! The city light was too strong. I would make a HDR next time.

You might be able to get a reasonably good HDR image even "after the fact" if you create a number of "bracketed" virtual copies of your RAW file and combine them in a program like HDR Efex Pro. There is some potential in that subject IMO, including the long-exposure blur, of which the viewer sees too little, since those parts of the image are a tad too dark and overpowered by the blast of orange light at the bottom of the frame.

If the highlights has the information and the noise level in the shadows is good enough I can do it in Lightroom. Thanks, I never thought about this technique.

The bright wall at the bottom of the scene is a distraction. Consider cropping a little off the bottom, keeping the feet and platform, but otherwise having water instead of wall at the bottom edge.

It has potential, but doesn't quite work for me. The colors on the statue and the sky are great. The perspective straight behind works well with the statue's posture/positioning. As mentioned earlier, the wall/sidewalk at the bottom is too bright and distracting. It could either be toned down in post processing, or cropped out. I also would have shot with the aperture opened up. I find the background distracting so blurring it out would have helped.

Interesting choice of viewpoint, and I like the yellow of the base and the gold of the statue vs. the deep blue of the sky and water. Very well done.
