Interesting subject. The one and only flower, cut, crushed, and covered with mud. Last sign of life. Yes, winter is coming.

In fact, what caught my attention are human acts... Destroy the life of this flower as it was on his way.

Nice shot. It makes a statement hopefully the driver just didn't see it.

Well spotted. Have you tried cranking up the colour saturation on the flower in post to make it stand out more?

I like the concept. Man & his machine destroy flower. But we all know how this plays out... nature always wins out. I agree with Wasp, a bit like that scene in Schindler's List where the young girl in the red coat draws the eye.

Great shot. Like the idea. I would try cropping a little of the left part out so the flower is a little off center, mainly because the right side of the photo has more interesting light, and that would emphasize it more.

Well this is the photo critique section, so I'll say it... I just don't find it interesting, sorry.

While I see and appreciate the concept of poignant yet overlooked scenes like this, the photo is not really working for me. Is it the somewhat distracting (and in part awkwardly cut-off) leaves in the foreground? Or the fact that the flower is "disfigured" by that mud clod? Do I wish for some more interesting light to accentuate the tyre marks and give me a keener sense of beauty-that-could-have-been?

But none of that needs to discourage you from liking the image. After all, you were there, spotted it, and felt it.

I love the idea but, as others have said, a bit of PP to make the flower stand out would be nice.
