Really nice composition, you chose the crop well.
When ever I shoot a panorama I now make sure to shoot substantially more that I will need to avoid voids that I missed or wished were there and also because it gives me the latitude to find what I think at the moment is the best framing. There have been a number of times in the past where I wished I had a bit more some place or found I missed a spot along an edge that I needed.

I take lots of pictures that no one sees and I'm always trying to improve. There are a number of things that I've photographed a number of times never being fully happy with the shot. Eventually I run out of ideas or am pleased. At that point I will toss them up here for a critique. Also if I like an image but see things I would like to improve later I will also post them to see what other think to check my own ideas or to get some others on what I could work on.
That's some good advice and a goal of mine for the new year - I need to start getting constructive criticism on my work and ideas on how to improve. Currently everything I do is zero post and I'm not sure if that's a sin or not in the digital world.

From the thumbnail I expected an infrared photo ... but this is gorgeous. Great job!
