You could trying reducing the brightness/exposure and increasing the contrast to make the person and his headress stand out more. If this is cropped from the original photo, I would suggest putting some empty space around your subject, to reduce the emphasis on his face and put more emphasis on everything else (unless you are trying to focus on the side of his face, of course). I'm sure the colours of his costume have significant meaning, which is getting lost because it is incomplete in the picture you posted. At least with my free advice you are guaranteed to get your money's worth!

Tight crop has left you with a lot of uninteresting green space - including more of the subject and toning down the green would my opinion.

Thank You .. this was at a Pow Wow. So the background is not much I can do to change .. other than blur it out.

The outfit is of course of his tribe. I wanted to add enough to show he was a Native American .. also he is Local to Virginia (near Richmond, Va)

It seems like the focus is slightly off. If the subject was moving I might suggest a higher shutter speed or smaller aperture. Love the colors though, I think it'd look even more amazing with a black background swap (done with simple masking) instead of the green. You could find tutorials on youtube if you're interested.

Firstly, this is a good shot. It appears that it has been cropped out from a much larger picture, correct?

Not sure if the focus is off or if it is motion blurred. Also it looks like you were shooting pretty close to wide open so I would have pushed up the ISO to 400 or 800 and thrown a stop at aperture and one at shutter speed. This is also one of those rare images where I wish it were wider. Get more of the headdress in there and have his whole back, maybe even a whole body shot.

it is not sharp (looks like motion blur), and this shot needs to be sharp.
