Thoughts on B/W balance?
Lens: Tamron 17-50mm F/2.8 @17 mm Camera: Pentax K-7 Photo Location: Frankfurt ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 1/90s Aperture: F5.6

Hi there! I found myself revisiting an "old" (from beginning of summer 2019) stack of photos from Frankfurt (I posted one some time ago). I decided to play around inspired by this thread: SMC Takumar 20mm/f4.5 - PentaxForums.com
I went for a low contrast film look which I think suits nicely the subject. Let me know your thoughts (also on composition etc., don't be shy )

Thanks in advance

Interesting lines and angles. I would clone out the little bit of building in top right corner. Secondly I feel the top of the centre building is close in tone to the sky. I am not sure if I would darken the sky a touch.

I think darkening the sky a bit would give it a little drama. However, I think it looks very good as it is.

I would agree that possibly cloning out the building top right might remove distraction. I also really like the interest in the left hand of the frame, and wonder whether there might be a tighter crop that looked in more detail at that interesting portion?

So it seems I did go a bit overboard with the low-contrast look. I'll try to have another pass at it tonight (and clone out the pesky top right since I'm at it...), thanks a lot for the comments

Very good composition but the sky looks a little muddy and sort of blends into the rest of the picture. Maybe a filter(orange/red) would have helped ?

i really like this one. The composition, reflections, and overall capture.
One thing I would do differently (not sure if it would end up better or worse :P) I would add more contrast

So after entirely too long, I did give it another pass. Increased the contrast a fair bit, darkened the sky. Not sure about the result, however...
