Moth
Lens: 28-105 Camera: K1 Photo Location: India ISO: 400 Shutter Speed: 1/25s Aperture: F13.5

Objective was to just take a compelling picture. What could I have done better?

I think you've nailed it with this one. Nice diagonal and decent detail on the moth.

Nice one. Interesting to see the zone of focus on the surface, there is so little to play with. If anything I would suggest trying to line up the beast along this line so more is in focus or you could increasing the depth of field slightly.

Thanks for your critique, I agree. The beast was near the limit of what I could reach as it was too high, which forced this perspective. But you're very right - if I could have somehow aligned the beast along the focus zone it would have been perfect.
