Nope. It's a acoustic guitar

Obviously I was joking, seriously, the one color at first glance from a greater impact as we see in color, right?
But the one in Black & White has a more dramatic or better introspective look, so you have to look beyond the image.

Good interpretation.

Give highly desaturated a shot maybe? Yeah, I'm playing the middle. Here's my thinking: His skin and the background would fade out to nearly monochrome, but the guitar (which I really like the color of) will still be somewhat saturated and stand out.

It's somewhat like selective colorization (which I don't often like), but not quite.

Maybe it would imbalance the image too much, but I'd be curious how it turned out.

Edit: I really like the portrait BTW. Nicely conceived and executed.

How about this one? It's a bit different because it's another shot but of the same pose. This one I didn't blow smoke.

Black & White

Nice photos all around, but I think that the B&W shot really lands.

Hi, I'd say, the 3rd, more natural image of the whole bunch. I personally found the other options were too harsh, or not refined enough IMO..
Cheers,
J.
