Its a great image, the animals in the background add a certain something to the solemnity of the abandoned house.

Great composition but appears to washed out.On another note maybe it would work in black and white.

Thanks. I think you missed the point. This was taken inB&W, primted in B&W with low contrast and color was added later. I don’t intend imitating a color print, but creating a mood with the colors I choose. If it looks odd to you, that’s not surprising. Very few people still do hand-colored images

I really like this. I can't really fault it at all. You have obviously spent a lot of time and effort and I think it has paid off. Well done. I like the animals too! Did you photograph the print to put on here or scan it?

Thanks RPJ. I photographed the print. I think that a scan wouldn’t pick up the texture left by the pens or oil colors
