For comparison
Lens: 240 mm Camera: Chamonix 8x10 Photo Location: Living room

I don´t know how obvious it will be on your screen.
This is another image from the sunflower series taken
with large format and then contact printed on AZO paper.
I also have negative scans that print without visible grain

Although they are just beginning flowers, the black and white toning gives the image an aspect of "Still Life"

I like it even though it can show some details that need to be polished.

Very Interesting Peter. The definition at the flower heads is a nice contrast. The light bleeding around the stalk on the left sunflower is bothering me for some reason. This reminds me of medical x-ray.

Thank you for your comments. Fortunately that can be corrected, burning
the edge area until it shows some substance. This is a "flat" print, in the
sense that the negative received a single overall exposure time.
Your suggestion will be included in the print recipe, so I can determine
how much light to add to achieve the desired result.
Which makes this forum sort of an analog histogram

What I´m looking for in these images is the depiction of a botanical specimen that did not go into a press.
Pressed plants are dehydrated, two-dimensional study references. I hope these images show more life
than the material that inspired them
