The two towers
Lens: SMC Pentax-DA 50-200mm F4-5.6 Camera: K-S2 ISO: 400 Shutter Speed: 1/1000s Aperture: F11

Hey!
Due to lack of eye-caching locations in my place I thought about using a simple, minimalistic concept focused on symmetry and contrast. What do you think?

My thoughts briefly, I understand the minimalistic approach... but IMHO you need to show some form of physical connection between them.

As at the moment they look like a couple of bookends or a mirrored repeat of one tower.

I'm sure there must also be some amazing stuff there, but your just not currently seeing it.

May I suggest that you relax about taking pictures and when you're allowed out again. Just go out for a wee "walkabout" and just happen to take a camera (one lens only) with you. If something catches your eye, then explore that scene with your camera.

We all go through these periods of a lack of photography mojo... but it does go away.

Hope this helps, take care stay safe, Kerrowdown.

I agree that you need something to connect the towers but you could also photograph only one of the towers with a bit of roof if you want to stay minimalist. I think, if you're still interested in the possibilities of the subject, you should shoot the towers or steeples together or separately from many different angles. It would make an interesting project

Same here, it leaves me wanting more (although I do enjoy the simple and symmetrical side of this image).

Good work with B&W. Maybe something breaking the symmetry (a bird flying, if I'm doing wishful thinking) could help maybe?

No orcs, it needs orcs
Works as a line-drawing art form. Photographically I'd choose to show more, but it works this way as well.
Tells me to look at things in ways I don't practice - what do I owe you for the lesson?

Too much negative space. Bring the towers closer to each other and the composition will be better.
