Red Mountain

Red Mountain near Mesa, Arizona - sacred to the Native Americans. Little HDR added for impact.

Great shot, love the mood of steadfastness against the wind and sun.

I like your composition and the post processing is interesting (not bad, just different ) but I am not convinced about the brightness of the image. For a daytime image it is far too dark, at the same time it is too bright for a night image in my opinion.

Agree. I like the way my jumps on the first cacti on the left bottom then hops to the next one and then to the top of the hillock - a nice leading line. At first I thought the poloriser was a tad too effective, then I read the HDR bit and I agree with Othar that is not so convincing. A B/W might look very good as well. Thanks for sharing.

The colour of the foreground seemed to lack saturation, but then I'm not familiar with this type of environment

Agree that foreground seems dull while the sky seems too dark. I like the composition though

Nice image. I have no experience with HDR, but this looks well done.

Sorry. Looks unnatural and too dark, for me.
