kids in the rain
Camera: iPhone 6 Photo Location: Dili, Timor-Leste

I had been working as a volunteer in Timor-Leste, and with co-workers had retreated to a local cafe. Suddenly the heavens opened, and a drenching rain caused us to stay longer and keep dry. Not so the local kids who came out to play. The only camera handy was my iPhone.

Love the expressions on their faces. The best camera is the one you have with you.

Nothing needs to be fixed, though I might crop just a bit from the top and a bit more from the bottom.

I had thought to crop the top but then I wanted to keep the water streaming off the roof - it was really belting down. In fact, this year Timor-Leste was brushed by a cyclone - the downfall caused severe flooding throughout the country but especially Dili. Much loss of life and damage.

Nice capture! Photographing kids is very rewarding.
Since the partial reflection at the bottom doesn't bring much, I would crop some of it and keep a traditional 3:2 or 4:3 aspect ratio.
