Pigeons are far from my favourite birds but they do seem to get a bad rap.

indeed sharp . I can see this as a potential B/W conversion pic. One could try and tease out the best tonality and contrast out of the flying-rat.

In Denmark we call them "Flying rats" ... but that's the same ;-)

We tend to regard starlings as the feathered rats, and there's few worse jobs than clearing out starling nests from a roof space. This pigeon is good to look at, sharp, frozen in flight - great shot

yes , I was expecting a bat , but
yes pigeons did some very important assignments not that far back.
Nice photo , very seriously looking bird.

Nice photo - sharp, clean and that eye is alive. Personally, I prefer pigeons to rats, and am very happy that rats don't fly.

Good captured image. I notice that birds often look at you when flying over. Must see if I can a picture of this scenario.

Nice sharp capture. Given the position of the wings, I would be tempted to flip the picture upside down, just to mess up people's head trying to figure out the weird upside down pigeon head :-)
