Gorgeous minimalistic image - beautifully composed and excuted. Please do consider sharing as to how many different positions/combinations did you try before you decided what worked best and your though process behind it. I ask, because for this kind of composition it takes a LOT of thought and in my case lot of attempts. I'm sure Newbies among us will benifit from your experience. Thank you.

That is an interesting point you make. Now that the cost of film is not a limiting factor, how many images do you take of a subject like this (everything is under your control) ? Do you measure or calculate your exposure or do you gradually correct the image on your camera screen ?

I like the composition a lot. However, it seems to me that it would have been better to have the focus at the location of the petal loop rather than at the front lip of the flower.

Agree with this, the loop draws the attention but then becomes a little distracting since it's out of focus.

I would like a little wider. And I agree with previous critics that it is better to focus on the loop. The idea is great and the execution can be redone. You can still remove chromatism
