Thank you for your comments. Victoria Falls is impressive. It is almost 2 Km wide (1.5 miles)
and over 100 m high (320 ft). On full moon nights you can see a rainbow over the falls.
The echo in the gorge during the dry (low water) season was what inspired Edgar Rice
Burroughs to give Tarzan his famous Jungle Yodel. Lord Greystoke was half man, half ape
and half Austrian

I went river rafting a little further down that gorge. It was some wild ride let me tell you!

I believe the local name for Victoria Falls is Mosi oa Tunya, which translates to the smoke that thunders. It is an amazing place, and the mist above the falls is visible from a good long distance from the falls.

I really like this photo, but you might want to crop a bit from the top, as the horizon doesn't add anything to the impact of the image...
