Thanks Edri , I just use a macro rail, I calculate the how much to moveper "slice" depending on the lens focal length (in this case 100mm) andaperture (F5.6 in this case) and just click a bunch of pictures. I use Zerenestacker which does a good job and that's it. Sometimes in some very complicatedscenarios, I also use staking and stitching to get a higher res image.

On the Ricoh topic, I agree with you that this could be incorporated asa feature. Hope the K1-III has this inbuilt - this would be a boon to take tothe field, esp if it is precise enough for at least 2X mag.
