Mountain stream, Chingaza N.P., Colombia
Pentax 67II. 45 mm
ND 6 Filter
HP5 @ ASA250 in Pyro PMKinto
Negative photographed on a light table,
reversed and image adjusted in Photoshop

I'm not a friend of sitting in front of a computer
or adjusting photos on a screen, but since my darkroom
is half an hour from home, this seemed like an
interesting option to see how the negatives turned out.
I hope that the contrast range responds a bit better
on paper than on the screen. The negatives are as
crisp as they can get.

The exposure through this filter turns water into mucus,
but I like the edges of th river and the contrast of the branches
against the white background

I like the composition. Additionally, there’s a pleasing , balanced tonality and contrast is limited in the small scale. I like the overall look.

IŽll post the printed version once I can go to the darkroom. It should be interesting to check how
close I can get with these digital simulations to a test print

A very pleasing frame, this. I like the way that a few branches are jutting out from the bottom left, it breaks the flow in an organic way. IMHO, if the foliage on the top half of the frame went a shade darker, this would bring out the water a bit more. As usual for your pictures, water looks like water and nothing else

The top half of the picture is wasted space. Perhaps consider a square crop of the image.

You are right. I took some in horizontal format and their composition looks more interesting
