I like it as well, the geometry of it all is just pleasing to my eyes and the pictures works.
It also highlights how the 4:3 format is so much better for pictures in portrait orientation.

Wonderful shot!

If I was forced to critique, just a bit more room on the left - making it symmetrical to the right - would be it.

But really, it's great as is.

very nice b/w conversion. The composition is just a bit too tight, especially on the left

Yes, I like cropping tightly in the viewfinder and sometimes I have to pay for that mistake.
