I didn't notice it before, but I believe you are right: brightening the shadows in the foreground had the negative side effect to make the appearance of other shadows too dark, quite unnatural. This is something I will remind, a very useful comment, thank you! Warm regards, Maurizio

Nice shot. Especially after editing.
I suggested that you work with blue and clouds. Make them cleaner by removing a little magenta.
The shadow of the mountain can be lightened a little so that it does not look so rough.
And finally, work with the mountain itself, adding accents. Where it is darker where it is lighter. This will add volume and character.
