Dirty laundry
Lens: Pentax 24-70 Camera: Pentax K1 Photo Location: Burano Italy ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 1/180s Aperture: F8

Burano is a wonderful little island near Venice and is FULL of colours, evey building has its unique signature and practically each and every one of them are vividly coloured. This picture was rendered in B/W to nullify the slap-on-the-face colours and percolate the delicate textures of the scene.

Dirty? In any case, the photo is a good one, sort of "clean" also.

The laundry stands out nicely in B&W and I like the overall composition.
I think the image could be improved by correcting the slight upwards angle the picture was taken in, in post. Maybe consider croping away the white sky and as a consequence from the bottom too to balance the composition again.

For my own taste, i'd also crop it lower into the roof tiles...so the crop runs right over the top of the lowest layer of 'arches' formed by the tiles.

I do really love the tones of the laundry!

Looks like we have a concensus - will lop off the sky above the tiled-roof. Thank you both. For laundry I opted for a slective tone-curve to bring out the texture and folds, glad it is appreciated.

Nice shot. like the vibe it gives off. The hanging towels makes me think of old times

Nice shot! Lovely composition. The monochrome works well.

I would maybe crop the roofline so the windows from the house behind are not visible, but it works as is too.

I'm a little curious to see it in color to see how garish they really are

old times - indeed ! I grew up in a sunny environs and never had to resort to an electric appliance to dry the clothes. Fun times indeed - Vitamin D3 for free

The bottle of detergent (or whatever it is) on the bottom left makes the picture

indeed, it sort of breaks the right-left symmetry in a good way - you got a good eye Macario - thank you.
