One made it, one didn't
Lens: FA 70-210 Camera: K-1 Photo Location: Astoria,OR

Under a hazy sunset, the ships in my last two beach photos join for a group pose. Disney Wonder passes by the wreck of the Peter Iredale, stuck here for 101 years.

Really interesting shot. Makes me wonder about what may have happened.

Nice image. I like the more muted colors and the composition a lot, my only improvement suggestion would be adding more contrast (and maybe darken) the top part of the wreckage a little, as contrast seems to be pretty low due to internal reflections in the lens.

Nice picture, but I preferred the other one of the ship. In that one, the wreck take a bit too much space for balance I think.
And the contrast makes the exposure tricky... The sky and reflection look a bit overexposed to me.

That's about the way it looked to me. The sky wasn't very saturated. I'll see what I can do about the contrast in PP. Low contrast is a strength/weakness of that old FA lens, and I'm not using it anymore.

Yeah, (micro)contrast could use a little help in post, but otherwise a really nice image. Composition, shapes, colours, message - what's not to like?

Very beautiful city. I'd like to go back out there for vacation again and do a nice photo shoot of the different landmarks.

(Any pics of the long bridge, or of the column? When I was there, almost 10 years ago during a road trip, I really enjoyed everything about the city, except maybe the drive across the bridge.)

A beautiful shot. I also think about the more expressive silhouette of the wreckage, maybe like this:
