Hey, I just posted yesterday a thread about storms! Come visit :
Any storm chasers around here? - PentaxForums.com

That's a very nice capture... I do wish that the frame would have included more at the bottom (is that the sea?)
Yes it's the sea but the on the right corner I had a public light... so I cropped the picture to delete it.

Wow! really nice shot. How did you go about capturing this??
I use the intervalometer of the K3 so I did one pic of 8s every 10s by batch of 20 pics. And I add a little bit of chance :-)

Awesome capture! Well done, and obviously very lucky too. Must have been a number of no-hits too?
I've done 150 shots to obtain less than 10 interesting pics ;-)

That's a lovely capture! A bit of crop on the top would probably make this picture even better. There also seems to be a bit of tilt, which might need some correction; either that, or my old eyes are failing me :-/ . The timing and exposure seems to be on the spot, nicely done.
Thank you !

That's still not bad, it must have been quite an intense storm!
I've never been to New Caledonia, not familiar with the weather there

Awesome!! A lightning shot is on my bucket list. I've gotten some "in-cloud" lightning before, but nothing like this... kudos!
