Thanks Othar, did not notice the halos when I posted it - thanks for the alert, will need to work on that. It is a single frame cropped pano BTW. I was waiting for the colours of the evening and this strange thing happend, after this everything went grey in this direction and the drama started at the other end - which I missed (long story

Great image! I wouldn't have noticed the halos if othar hadn't mentioned them.

One often sufffers halos when shooting horizons in evenings. Hard if not impossible to avoid that although careful sharpening restraint might/might-not help.
