Good idea, I like it. I have to play with the glass ball yourself. Several comments. Snow is green at the top of the frame and purple at the bottom. I would also cut or mask the smudged stems in the foreground a bit.

I appreciate your reflections you should know. But I have kept the blurry straws in the foreground because I want a little "shit" in the foreground. The differences in the snow come from the sunrise in the background which gives color differences, as we see in the glass ball. I also want to include these color differences as it otherwise gives a flat look, I think. But you are welcome to post a picture that you have edited according to your opinion, I think it is interesting to see how different we look at the matter.
