Susan, I think your image looks great without pp being used. I really like the lighting and the composition. It was worth you getting soaked for this shot

I like it just the way it is. For fun I did a little shadow detail adjusting and brought out the shells some but I don't think it helped the shot at all. Looks great as is.

Great photo and good composition. If you wanted to do some PP work, I would try to bring out more detail in the foreground so viewers would know they are oyster shells. Otherwise it is fine the way it is. As for getting soaked on your belly, know that the K10D, K20D and K200D are all weather sealed. I am not sure about the K100D super. I accidentally got water on my ZX50 back in '04 at an water amusement park and shortly therafter my autofocus motor locked up! The camera was not soaked, but is was constantly bieng sprayed lightly by water for obvious reasons. It was a company picnic and I was the designated photographer.

Thanks for all the kind comments. Sometimes I don't trust my monitor (we won't talk about these old eyes that don't see as well as they used to.)
Gary, are you feeling OK? You didn't mention the dreaded "c"rop word LOL.
Susan
