A great picture tack sharp very nice colors , could be a wall hanger.

The Pentax equipment also knows how to compose a shot very well, it appears!

It's a very nice photo. If I were going to make a critique, I would probably not sharpen the bird quite as much. Obviously it is a taste thing, but I tend to err a little bit more on the softer side -- still sharpened, but not quite as much.

Bird photography is very challenging. You've nailed this one - focus is spot on, great exposure and the catch-light in the bird's eye makes it come alive.

Very nice and sharp image of the bird in a classic pose.
However, I find the out of focus branch above the bird's head a bit distracting.
With the picture taken in bright sun, the white areas do seem a little overpowering.
