All the Phases of Spring
Lens: Pentax M-Macro F4 Camera: K-S2 Photo Location: West Virginia, USA ISO: 800 Shutter Speed: 1/200s

I used either my Pentax SMC M-50mm F4 Macro or Pentax SMC M-100mm F4 Macro with Pentax extension tubes, I just don't recall which Manual lens.

Anyways, I took this one last year when Spring was breaking. I call this one "All The Phases Of Spring" as, to me anyways, it appears that many phases of Spring can be seen in this "bud."

Comments please...

Right you are about the phases of spring showing in this image.
Very beautiful shot.
I suspect this was with the 50mm because it shows such a great depth of field within the blossom.
(My 100mm has to be back from the subject a long way and be stopped down quite a bit to get such DOF.)
I'm trying to identify the plant--it almost looks like it might be an ash bud.
Surely is pretty!
Angky.

That is a bit of a strange recording, it seems to me.
Well, but the image is a good one, at any rate.
Angky.
