No drmartin, you did nothing wrong! Comments in this sub-section come just slowly, I think....

I like the conversion and the outcome! The best thing in my opinion is the grain (in the air!). Probably some more detail in the peoples-part (sea and beach) would be nice, but I like it the way it is.

If I have correctly understood, some people occupy an ugly pose? How you consider, it has turned out on "the heat" image?
Thanks, for attention to my work.

No no, no ugly pose!

It is difficult to see the people in the water. Probably it is the grain, the texture?

The grain in the photo gives it the feel that it is from another time(bikini a give away to modern time). I like it.

It's a great BW image. I don't see any hot spots and the grain makes it look like it came out of the 1950's.

There are a lot of JPEG artifacts, and especially in the water (try enlarging it, and you'll see it). I don't know if this is due to a poor scanner or just wrong settings for downsizing?

Otherwise, nice retro look to that image

Scintiscanner -nikon super coolscan 4000. I printed the picture of 30 х 45 сm, grain of considerable size on him is not present. The compression of file is credible on a forum results in a bad result. I have a supervision that an image in the internet from a film loses to the image from a digital camera, but at printing to the paper -tape exactly better!
