Sand-pit. Dunes, structures, and contrasts.

Please comment my pictures. I accept all critique of any kind. Be fair. I am amateur, still learning and your thoughts are important.

Thanks

I think they're all very interesting and I really like the look of your first three photos. I've stared for a while now and I'm still not sure what I'm looking at (that's a compliment--I get bored here easily some days). The last one might be great too, but I would like to see a larger version.

Saul, good work; I particuarly like the blue duotone (?) although I have a bias against silhouette . My only suggestion would be to try a HDD compsotive to bring out a bit more of the structure. Here's a hand link on the technique, High Dynamic Range (HDR) Photography in Photoshop CS2

I really like the third one. It's and excellent photo! Great composition and PP.

The first one has also good composition. I only wonder, whether it might look better in color?

Thanks.
No, colors in a first one where faded, because it was sunny midday (you could se it by shadows). I will have to come back there before the dawn.

What about the last picture? It seams that no one likes this shot, while I find it interesting. I'm biased.
You would be surprised how little PP has third picture. Though it is PP-cessed.
