I think I would start by cropping to get rid of the grass at the bottom of the picture. The picture is real sharp and clear, but you might check the levels and lighten the shadows to see if you can get more detail of the mallards head. Just some thoughts.

The edited version is much better. Too bad the other duck confuses the background - next time try to capture them isolated so they don't interfere with each other, making a clearer picture.
