Forever
Lens: 100 Camera: K10D ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 1/150s Aperture: F4.5

A few weeks before the actual wedding I had the chance to take some pics form the wedding rings!

Any critique?

Guido

I know nothing about jewelery photography but I don't like the green background...

Re: Forever

I also like the green background. Precise focusing.

Good work.

I think it would be better if both rings were fully in the frame and it was taken from a more 'straight on' perspective.

engravings are always nice to have in focus as well, perhaps a larger depth of field. then again I'm not a wedding photographer

Thx all for your input.

I'm not a weddingfotographer its my first one. I made 4 different photos from the rings. this pic was a bit unusual thats why I posted it here. maybe wise to post the other pics aswel.

The reason parts off the lowest ring were left of was because the picture is made on a mirror. The double image off both rings was distracting and not nice at all.

The color is a bit daring the other shots are from the more romantic typ.

Guido, a black non reflective background usually works best for those kind of shots. A mirror behind instead of below could have made an interesting image.
