The frog had one eye on me and one on the fly/

Beautiful image indeed! Colour saturation and contrast are amazing. The out-of-focus nose isn't that distracting really, the subjects are very nicely photographed.

Composition-wise, perhaps if you crop some off the top and right, it'll improve.

Extremely good work! 9/10 from me.

I don't know why you put it in the critique section, it's a fine shot. The only improvement you could make to it IMO is if the frog and fly were over to the right hand side of the frame but that would just be being picky.

The only other comment I could make is "It's a terrible shot because you come from Belgium".

I wouldn't call it picky as much as just being technically sound and critical. There is too much wasted space at the top. Too much green to draw the viewer's eye toward, taking away from the subjects. The bottom portion does look great, with perfect focusing and DOF. It just needed a better framing.

Normally, I would agree with you, but I really like that green and the subtle change in texture.
Everyone beholds an image differently.
