Lens: 300mm Camera: K100D Super ISO: 800 Shutter Speed: 1/180s Aperture: F6.7

I've mostly been a creeper on the forum and thought I should get my feet wet with some feedback from people who aren't my friends I can find alot of things "wrong" with this picture but there is something that grabs me - let me know what you think.

Before anyone else notices I was a little trigger happy with the zero key this morning - the camera is of course a K100D Super not a K1000D Super

That is a cute shot, it's a bit of a shame that the left eye isn't partially obscured (or maybe even completely obscured. It does seem to have a bit of a colour caste to it.
This was quick and dirty but how about a B&W?
Let me know if you want me to take it down.

You can edit the K1000D bit if you want. If you can't, let me know and I can do it for you.

Damn Brit doing something nice? Better look out!

I like the color version just desaturate the eye to remove the cast. But maybe she has blue eyes!

I have tried to edit the "K1000D" but if I use the Edit button on the post it only allows me to change the text not the details. I'm happy to change it myself but if you could point me in the right direction that would be great.
Thanks.

Thanks for taking a look - and trying the B&W Damn Brit. I had actually started with a sepia version which wasn't working for me so I went for the soft colour but the B&W is nice. I'll also try to desaturate the left eye.

Unfortunately that doesn't work. If you have time to change it great - otherwise it's not a big deal.

I like the color cast on the orig, but the two eyes are not consistent and that's distracting. I like jmenard's version, only because the eyes are more evenly blue.

Overall, I love this image .. images like this inspire me to keep being creative Nice work!

I would drop this processing all together and just go with a standalone black and white or full color. It's a great shot and I wouldn't have touched it up like that.
